About Us

Trust Birthpools is run by me, Robert Alsop. Both of my children were born in water at home — those births changed my understanding of what a calm, powerful start to life can look like.

I started renting birthpools over a decade ago. Since then, hundreds of babies have been born in our pools — in living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens, surrounded by the people who matter most.

What drives us

We believe that how a woman gives birth matters. The environment matters. The calm matters. The sense of being in your own space, on your own terms, with the people you trust — that matters.

A birthpool doesn’t guarantee a perfect birth. Nothing does. But it creates conditions where your body can do what it knows how to do — and where those first moments with your baby are yours.

We handle the logistics so you never have to think about equipment, delivery schedules, or return shipping. The effort is invisible. The care is felt.
